I direct films, I shoot films and sometimes I even edit films.

I was attracted to filmmaking because I was interested in voices and opinions that came from the margins of mainstream society and I saw filmmaking as a way to bring attention to these voices. Even today my films mostly deal with the environment and development issues.

A seasoned traveller, over the years I have lived and worked in different countries, watched many films and closely interacted with diverse communities. I am open to different points of view and comfortable in different environments. This, I believe, has helped me find engaging ways of communicating elemental human concerns in the films I have worked on.

A good film to me is one that is entertaining yet thought provoking, and the idea behind this website is to reach out to other people who also think so and to showcase my work. I welcome comments on the Blog and look forward to new ideas and freewheeling discussions.
